Some words from the Gay & Lesbian Fund…
The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado believes that developing partnerships with nonprofits creates a deeper understanding that the fair and equal treatment of all people makes Colorado a more desirable place to live, work, and play. We support organizations like Work Options for Women because they understand the value of inclusion and promote equality within their community. We work collaboratively with Colorado nonprofits, foundations, local government agencies, business owners, and individual allies to honor the diverse histories and experiences of Colorado’s residents. Together, we build a better Colorado.
Over the last 15 years, the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado invested more than $24.8 million in hundreds of high-impact nonprofits. Our mission is to create a Colorado where everyone is treated equally, and with respect.
Colorado is home to families with deep, multi-generational roots and families who relocate here in pursuit of a better quality of life. We believe all families have the right to thrive, and a goal of the Gay & Lesbian Fund is to support nonprofits that ensure quality in health and well-being for all Coloradans. We partner with organizations that devote their energy and expertise to eliminating disparities for Colorado’s children, youth, and families. Their commitment to healthy families unlocks Colorado’s highest potential, and creates a more vibrant state. In partnership with Work Options for Women, the Gay & Lesbian Fund is building a Colorado founded on the health and vitality of everyone, from our youngest residents to our most mature, and everyone in between.
