Justin Cucci of Denver favorites Root Down and Linger to teach cooking class!

Justin Cucci, Chef/Owner of two of Denver’s most popular restaurants, Root Down and Linger, will be sharing his culinary expertise with an intimate cooking class to be held at Café Options on Wednesday, September 12, from 6-8pm.

If you live in Denver, I am sure you have heard of, if not been to, Root Down and Linger. Root Down was the first to open in 2010 to rave reviews. Its “globally influenced seasonal cuisine” has been attracting patrons like moths to a flame. But don’t take my word for it… just take a look at any number of the 647 reviews on yelp.com, which gush about the delicious, fresh food and claim that Root Down is the “best restaurant in Denver”.

As if achieving this amount of monumental success wasn’t enough, Justin decided to do it again. In 2011 Justin opened Linger, a Turkish, Indian and Moroccan street food influenced restaurant that has been one of the toughest reservations in the city since opening day.

WOW hit the jackpot with this one! We are so lucky that Justin is willing to take time out of his busy schedule and away from his jam-packed restaurants to teach our September cooking class. I don’t know about you, but I am most excited to learn about Indian spices (the one type of food that I am dying to master) and the art of raw food (yes, it IS an art).
